The Metropolis of Topeka suggests it has hired Amanda Stanley as the Metropolis Legal professional. It said Stanley was earlier normal counsel for the League of Kansas Municipalities. She will start out her new job on Aug. 23.

According to the City, Stanley has worked as a licensed legal professional for 7 decades and expended part of that time in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Wichita and the Kansas Courtroom of Appeals. It claimed she was named Condition League Counsel of the Year for the International Municipal Legal professionals Association in 2020 and gained the Kansas Bar Affiliation 2020 Superb Assistance Award. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Newman College in 2008 and her regulation degree from the University of Kansas Faculty of Law in 2014.
